Candidates Pledge to Work Together for Colorado

Flerlage for Congress is announcing that the campaign has joined with Bennet for Colorado in an effort to work together for Colorado families.  Both candidates and their campaigns believe the partnership will be vital to ensure that the voices of the people are heard in the upcoming election.

Over the next few months, Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and Congressional District 6 (CD6) candidate John Flerlage will being sharing their values and messages with voters, and also be listening to their hopes and concerns.

"John has a strong conviction to the people of his district and the state, and he is what our kids and grandkids need in the way of leadership,” says Bennet.  “His experience both in the Marines for 22 years, and as an airline pilot put him in a position that is very rare in Washington.  In a place that’s full of people that have done nothing with their lives except run for office, John will make profound contributions.”

In Washington, Senator Bennet has become known as a pragmatic leader who finds new solutions to old problems. He believes that as a Senator, it is his obligation to leave the country in a better place for his and all of Colorado’s children.  And, Bennet believes that there is a very real chance of failure if Colorado’s representatives do not take a fresh approach to Washington.

“Senator Bennet and I agree that the independent thinking that we embrace here in Colorado is what we must take with us to Washington,” says Flerlage.  “It’s our responsibility to work for the change that will result in a healthy economy, security in our communities and smart healthcare and education reforms.”
